Our goal is to provide compassionate, comprehensive support to individuals experiencing homelessness, with a special focus on those struggling with addiction. We aim to establish a multi-unit homeless shelter and outreach day shelters throughout Maryland to address the basic and critical needs of this vulnerable population.
Our proposed project will create a comprehensive resource center offering emergency shelter, meals, hygiene services, counseling, job application assistance, and other essential resources. In the first year, we aim to serve 200 individuals, providing them with stability, dignity, and pathways to recovery and self-sufficiency.

Services
Partners & Sponsors Needed
We are seeking partners to continue to build our food service and resource programs.Our goal is to ensure that everyone has access to the care they need, regardless of their financial situation. We believe in providing compassionate and comprehensive care to all of our patients, and we are dedicated to helping our community achieve better health and wellness. All forms of donations are needed to have supplies for the homeless families in needed.
Emergency & Transitional Shelters
Providing services and resources is the key to our homeless outreach. Understanding providing shelter comes first. Today our program can only provide emergency shelter, trainings and resources to single individual adults. Our future goal is to open a transitional shelter that will allow us to house people longer with their families by providing more services that can lead to permanent housing
Feeding the Homeless
Opportunities Unlimited has several ways to feed the homeless and provide meals to hungry families. Today we provide meals for special occasions, i.e., Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Our future goal is to be able to provide one hot meal per day to the homeless.
Food Pantry
Food pantries are supplied through a variety of donations and community contributions. Our food pantries provide free food and groceries to individuals and families in need. Our goal is to aim to alleviate hunger and promote the well-being of those facing financial hardship.
Coming Soon-Mobile Services
Through collaborations we will start Mobile Services. Mobile Pantries and a Drive Thru Food Pantry. This will allow us to either bring the food pantry to a specific neighborhood or families can drive up and grab a bag or box of food that has already been prepared by volunteers.

There are several ways you can help us, you can volunteer, make a donation, become a supporter, sponsor or a partner.
Supporting our non-profit can be done as an individual or through a group. Supporting us is a selfless act and it helps us serve the most vulnerable groups in society, your support will help us continue to helping them ensure that their basic needs.
Help with our capitol campaign. We are in dire need of both monetary support and in-kind donations, both will to help us reach our goals of having a building large enough to support all of our efforts in helping the communities homeless populations.

Local partnerships can be with other nonprofits, businesses, or government entities to pool resources, share expertise, and tackle complex social issues. Through collaborations we provide many benefits to our sponors.
FINANCIAL
Financial contributions to non-profit organizations are essential for their operations and can provide tax benefits to donors, depending on the type and amount of the contribution. Financial contributions are tax deductible to our 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Your financial contribution can be program specific or help fund any programs, they are a vital part of our existence. They help support operations, and enable us to fulfill our missions.
VOLUNTEERING
We are always looking for positive minded volunteers and/or interns. Benefits include making a difference in your community and helping others in need but for you…Skill Development: Many volunteer roles provide opportunities to develop new skills or enhance existing ones, which can be beneficial for personal and professional growth……Networking: Volunteering can help you meet new people and expand your professional network, which may lead to future job opportunities.
SPONSORSHIPS
Sponsorships can be a one time contribution or a multi-year commitments. Our sponsors receive benefits for their contributions, which makes it more than just a donation. Many of their benefits maybe through our partners or directly from our organization. A donation is a money, goods, or services given to to us not expecting anything in return. Both are forms of charity aimed at supporting the work we do.
IN-KIND DONATIONS
In-kind donations helps us defray the funds we need for our overall operational cost. We accept and need non-monetary assets, commodities, or services. It can range from simple bartering, where goods are traded directly, to complex arrangements where services are provided in lieu of payment. The value of these non-cash contributions is often equivalent to what would otherwise be a monetary transaction.
